Professor Adjunto de Imunologia da Universidade Federal da Bahia, possui graduação em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Católica do Salvador (2000), Mestrado em Patologia Humana pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (2002) e Doutorado em Patologia Humana pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (2005). Realizou o Pós-Doutorado em Imunologia na University of Pennsylvania. Tem experiência na área de Imunologia, com ênfase em Imunologia Aplicada, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: leishmaniose, candidíase vaginal e hanseníase.Pesquisador 2 do CNPq.
