Associate Professor of Immunology at the Federal University of Bahia, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Catholic University of Salvador (2000), a Master's degree in Human Pathology from the Federal University of Bahia (2002) and a PhD in Human Pathology from the Federal University of Bahia (2005). He completed his PhD in Immunology at the University of Pennsylvania. He has experience in the field of Immunology, with an emphasis on Applied Immunology, working mainly on the following themes: leishmaniasis, vaginal candidiasis and leprosy. Researcher 2, CNPq.
