We are pleased to inform that the student from the Graduate Program in Health Sciences, MAURÍCIO TEIXEIRA NASCIMENTO, was the winner of the 2024 edition of the CAPES Thesis Award in the field of Medicine I, with the work entitled "STUDY OF REGULATORY PATHWAYS OF THE INFLAMMATORY RESPONSE IN PATIENTS WITH CUTANEOUS LEISHMANIASIS CAUSED BY L. braziliensis", under the supervision of Prof. LUCAS PEDREIRA DE CARVALHO.
With this recognition, PPgCS receives the CAPES thesis award for the second consecutive year and accumulates three awards within a 6-year period.
