Paulo N. Rocha
Graduated in Medicine at the School of Medicine in Bahia (FMB), Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) (1995), he did a medical residency in internal medicine at the Medical College of Pennsylvania (1996-1999), where he was chief resident (1999-2000), and a residency in Nephrology at Duke University (2000-2003). He has the title of specialist in internal medicine and Nephrology from the American Board of Internal Medicine and in Nephrology from the Brazilian Society of Nephrology. He completed a Doctorate in Medicine, concentrating in Immunology, in 2005. Since 2006, he has held the position of assistant professor in the Department of Medicine and Diagnostic Support at FMB-UFBA. Since 2009, he has been the co-ordinator of the Biostatistics discipline for the Post-graduate Program in Health Sciences (PPgCS) at UFBA. In 2011, he became part of the Ethics Committee as Medical Residency Program Supervisor of the medical clinic at the University Hospital Professor Edgard Santos. He is the co-editor of the Brazilian Journal of Nephrology.
