He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Medicine from the Federal University of Ceará (1989), a Master’s in Allergy and Immunopathology from the University of São Paulo (1996) and a Phd in Pathology from the University of São Paulo (2002). He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Bahia. He has experience in the field of Medicine, with emphasis in Allergology and Clinical Immunology, working mainly on the following themes: asthma, hereditary angioedema, primary immunodeficiencies, urticaria and T NK cells.
