Every year, PPgCS students have the opportunity to orally present their dissertation/thesis projects and the results obtained in an annual seminar organized according to international standards of excellence. In this seminar, all students participate, including asking questions according to a previously established schedule. This year, Prof. Marcelo Távora Mira (PUCPR and Coordinator of Professional Programs in Medicine I at CAPES), Prof. Valéria de Matos Borges (FIOCRUZ/BA), and Prof. Songeli Menezes Freire (ICS-UFBA) comprise the Seminar Examination and Evaluation Committee. It is a unique moment in which PPgCS students receive valuable input for the progress of their research and their academic development from prominent Brazilian researchers.
